First aid legislation

The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 outline the essential areas of first aid that employers must comply with. The Health and Safety Executive have produced an Approved Code of Practice and Guidance Manual to assist employers.

Automated External Defibrillation

There is no statutory legal requirement under English and Welsh law to provide a defibrillator, however this does not mean that there is no risk of liability arising if you do not have one.
