Tim Nuttall
Clinical Advisor
Tim Nuttall is a State Registered Nurse. He served for 22 years in the Army Medical Services the majority of this time being spent in Accident and Emergency Departments and on operational deployments. He saw service in the UK and Germany as well as the South Atlantic, Central America, East Africa, the Persian Gulf and the Balkans.
After leaving the Service he became responsible for the planning, training and delivery of Immediate Care within a large multi-faceted retail based organisation centred in Knightsbridge in London. The Company included a large department store, a Premier League Football Club, a busy heliport and a variety of factories and retail outlets.
He currently retains his responsibility for the medical support of the Premiership League Football Club and is the Education Facilitator for the British Association for Immediate Care, BASICS. He also provides emergency care advice and training and event medical support on a private basis throughout central and southern England. Through his role as a Red Cross Volunteer, he is frequently involved in the provision of care at major public events in London and he regularly deploys as part of a medical team in support of the London Ambulance Service. Tim is also the Event Medicine Company's Nurse Manager and regularly deploys at major UK events as part of a casualty clearing command team.
He is an instructor for the British Association for Immediate Care, the United Kingdom Resuscitation Council, Advanced Life Support Instructor and an instructor for Major Incident Medical Management and Support courses. He possesses the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Certificate ' and has undertaken training in Paediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Nursing.
